Structural Assessments
Our structural assessments will review the condition of the existing property and highlight any cause for concern, along with suggested further investigation to confirm the cause of any defects encountered where required.
Structural Design
We work with Architects and other construction professionals to provide structural engineering designs for alterations required to extend and improve existing properties and new-build structures. Our designs provide structural analysis, calculations and drawings as appropriate for submission to Building Control for approval.
Repair & Reinstatement
We work closely alongside home owners, insurers and Loss Adjusters to provide a swift and pragmatic repair strategy appropriate to the situation, including advice relating to emergency temporary stability where required. For less urgent defects, general advice and ongoing monitoring with further analysis and investigation may be put in place to ensure the most appropriate solution.
Conservation
For conservation and repair projects our approach is to adopt sympathetic repair solutions using minimal intervention and adopting traditional methods and techniques to repair and extend the serviceable life of the existing structure. Traditional historic buildings are rarely able to be justified to meet modern design standards meaning a more considered and sympathetic approach to structural justification is required.
